Free Sqlite Viewer Tool – Know How It Works!

STEP 1

Click on Start > All Programs > Sqlite Forensic Explorer. To Launch the Sqlite Forensic Explorer from the installed location

Now, click on Add File button to add Sqlite file and start the analysis process

A new pop-up window will appear for users to Browse and select the file type: either Sqlite File or Journal File.

Now, find the Sqlite file from the system by clicking on the Browse button

Select the Sqlite file and click on add button to start the scanning proccess.

Note: same procedure will apply for journal file.

Now, the left panel shows the moduls of selected Sqlite file in a tree structure and the right panel shows the preview of Sqlite file under the tabular bar.

Hex tab allows user to analyze the data in binary format. The record bar shows the detail of the message.

The hex view also shows the page properties In ascending or descending order.

To more analyze the data in binary format, the Sqlite Forensics explorer provide color schema to categorize the data

Export option is also available in the tool; user needs to select the folder, which is required to export.

The export option allow user to select either all export options such as Active Records, Deleted Records and All Media Files or desired one.

Now, choose the file type either PDF or CSV to export desired records.

Click on browse button to choose the destination location where the exported files will be stored and then click on save button

An alert message "Exported Successfully" will appear after completion of export option..

Now, to inquire the items exported using Sqlite Forensic Explorer.

Go to the location where the PDF file located in your machine as shown below: -

Open the PDF file from Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and analyze it.

Now to open the CSV, go to the location where the CSV file located in your machine.

To open and check the CSV file, double click on it.

Now to analyze the schema of particular table, just hover the cursor under the table properties.

The Sqlite Forensic Explorer provide the symbol option to export the schema into PDF or CSV.
